Greetings
Fellow CA Alumni,
Clarksville
Academy has received a generous challenge gift of $100,000.
The challenge has been made for CA alumni to raise $100,000
in order to receive $100,000 in matching funds from an
anonymous donor. This matching challenge gives our alma
mater the chance to have $200,000 in gift money during the
upcoming months. The generous benefactors made their gift to
encourage and inspire CA alumni as never before. Their hope
and dream is that alumni will increase their current giving
to new heights of generosity and that first-time givers will
join the family of donors. The challenge has multiple goals
- to build the softball field, to complete the Sports
Complex, and to increase the number of CA alumni who give to
our school.
H. Jackson
Brown, Jr. said, "Nothing is more expensive than a missed
opportunity." Clarksville Academy cannot afford to miss this
opportunity and with our unified support, we will not.
We need you to
make a significant financial commitment to Clarksville
Academy. We need you to be actively engaged in identifying
alumni who we have lost contact with. We need you to tell
the story of this challenge and encourage others to make a
donation to our alma mater, Clarksville Academy.
Gifts for the
alumni challenge may be made in any amount. Your giving, to
be combined with others, is critical. We now have
approximately 824 alumni. If 100 alumni contribute $1000, we
will meet our goal. If $1000 is not possible for you, please
consider giving a gift over several months such as $100 per
month for 5 months or $50 per month for 10 months. These are
simply suggested options; please note that any gift is
welcomed and appreciated!
Remember you
gift will set an example that influences other alumni to
invest in this cause. We believe in the importance of this
challenge gift and want you to join us.
We are ready
and available to assist you with information. As alumni we
ask you to join us in capitalizing on this opportunity.
Sincerely,
Kay D. Drew
