Five Year Strategic Plan 2006-2011


MISSION: to promote academic excellence, moral integrity, and physical and social growth

MISSION STATEMENT: Clarksville Academy is a pre-kindergarten through grade twelve, college-preparatory school. Our mission is to promote academic excellence, moral integrity, and physical and social growth.

OUR VISION: assisting students in achieving their potential, identifying student strengths and interests, and ensuring student success in college and beyond.

  1. Ensuring Excellence in Student Achievement
  • Continue to recruit highly qualified instructors and offer competitive salaries

  • Continue to expand and refine course offerings based on current data and best practice

  • Increase the percentage of students who surpass the local and state standardized test scores

  • Plan and implement improvement procedures for alignment of subjects in minimum of three grade succession grades

  • Continue to increase the availability of technology in all classrooms and improve efficiency of reliability and  repair

  1. Improving Efficiency and Effectiveness
  • Continue to promote school growth and monitor it closely to stay aligned with school mission and vision

  • Plan and complete our own athletic field complex within the identified mileage circumference

  • Improve the campus facilities to accommodate growth and enhance learning

  • Improve performance and availability of school and athletic transportation

  1. Build and Encourage School Leadership and Professional Growth
  • Provide quality opportunities for professional growth within the school

  • Encourage faculty to continue education by developing financial support systems for masters degrees and beyond

  1. Build public and community support
  • Promote school’s mission and vision and the education provided in the state, city of Clarksville, and surrounding counties through personal experiences, alumni witnessing, and advertising

  • Improve understanding of the educational service and opportunities offered through increased media exposure
